Do you know what Grooveshark is? Well yes, of course, if you came until here. Do you love it, but you think it should be free? You are in the right place then: with my tweak you’ll be able to renew your trial period and enjoy a premium Grooveshark experience to the infinity. And beyond.
But this wasn’t enough: Grooveshark Enhancer also allows you to access the songs you offlined without the encryption and even import them into the Music app. More features will come.
Grooveshark Enhancer supports only the last version of the Grooveshark app at the time of release (currently it is 2.6.6). This is intentional because there is no reason to keep using an old version (every feature works in the latest one): please update your Grooveshark app from Cydia. When a new version comes out, it may take some days before an update to Grooveshark Enhancer is released. In the meantime just keep your current version or contact me if you need to reinstall it.
Troubleshooting:
1) I’m getting random songs: this is a protection system by Grooveshark that’s implemented server-side (there is no way for me to fix it). Wait for some hours and it’ll disappear automatically.
If you’re willing to create a new account, kill Grooveshark from the multitasking bar, delete the folder at F.A.Q. #4, change your IP (i.e. disconnect and reconnect your Internet connection or use your neighbor’s Wi-Fi wink.png ) and create a new account. You’ll get the correct songs if you did this right.
2) I can’t renew my trial: Keep trying, if after ten renews it still doesn’t work got get a coffee and retry after a while.
3) I can’t import music: Make sure you installed the latest version of the Gremlin Framework from the BigBoss repo. If it still doesn’t work, keep reading and delete the folder at F.A.Q. #4.
4) There is something very wrong with my GS, i’m having a strange problem: please delete the folder/var/mobile/Library/Grooveshark (you’ll lose your offline music, but it’s necessary).
5) I did that, I really did, but it still doesn’t work: now that you did everything you could do, please drop me a mail (use the contact button in Grooveshark Enhancer) or tweet me (I’m @crzmst).
